Qango Relaunched

Qango has been relaunched today after a server collapse in July destroyed all of the data I had been building up over the past four years.

The main Qango directory has been completely rebuild with new, improved software and is now open for site suggestions.

Other Qango Directories
The smaller topic specific directories have been closed to allow more time for the redevelopment of the main directory. If you have any links to the previous directories please remove them at your earliest convenience.

Guaranteed Site Review Listings
If you previously purchased a guaranteed site review and your site was accepted for a listing in any of the Qango directories, your site listing has now been added back into the new directory in an appropriate category.

Free Service Site Listings
If your site was previously listed in any of the Qango directories through the free site suggestion service, you will need to suggest it again.

Link Partner Programs
I have suspended all of the link-partner programs for the time being. If you have any Qango link-partner code on your site please update it to point to the new directory home page.

Chat Forums
The Qango Chat Forums are open again, but you will need to re-register to use them since all of the user profile data was lost.

Advertiser Accounts
I have suspended direct advertising campaigns through ads.qango.com and you can now purchase ad-space on Qango through our media partner FastClick. All previous campaigns will be honoured and delivered as requested.

I hope you enjoy using the new Qango directory and I offer my apologies to all my visitors and listed site owners for the recent problems. I promise to do my best to rebuild Qango and provide a better service in the future.
